2009 FINAL Shennington 5/6th September
The Gliding Centre were runners up in the Interclub Final over the 5/6th Sept weekend, having narrowly lost by one point to Essex & Suffolk.
Saturday was scrubbed, however Sunday was flyable and we were entertained in the Pundit class to a Cheetham v Davis showdown, which saw the ASG29e beat the JS1 by some minutes, with Russell taking a win for the pundit class.
Frank Roles, as the Gliding Centre's Intermediate, performed brilliantly in his LS3-17 to take second place in the Intermediates, followed by a creditable third place for Kevin Fisher in the Novice Class.
